AVERT training, which stands for Active Violence Emergency Response Training, is a program designed to prepare individuals and organizations to respond effectively to active violence situations. It focuses on recognizing warning signs, reacting quickly, and controlling bleeding in life-threatening scenarios. AVERT training goes beyond basic active shooter response by incorporating elements like situational awareness, escape and evade tactics, and emergency bleeding control.
AVERT is a blended online and In-person course. Students MUST complete a brief online module before attending the In-person training. Scan the QR code to sign up for the class and receive an email or text message with a link for the online module, within 48 hrs. The online module must be completed by July 12,2025. The course is $75.00 per person and the class start July 19, 2025 at 9am to 2pm. Food and drinks will be provided.
Refund Policy: If you can’t make it to your assigned class, we will reschedule you for the next scheduled class. If you miss the rescheduled class you will not be eligible for a reschedule. You will have to pay full price. No refunds once the online module has started.
